5. If you win the coin toss, you may elect to kick or receive.

6. The ball is kicked down the field and the receiving team has to answer as many questions in a row as possible to move the ball up the field before their first play. Each correct answer is worth 10 yards, answering enough questions correctly can score a Touchdown. Example: If you began at the 20 yard line and answered 3 questions correctly then the first play would start the game on the 50 yard line.

Yards are gained by answering questions correctly. Questions have a difficulty rating:
  • Easy: easy questions are worth 1-5 yards,
  • Medium: medium difficulty questions are worth 6-10 yards.
  • Difficult: difficult questions are worth 11-20 yards.

7. Each play by either the home or visitor's team takes 30 seconds off the game clock (no matter the yardage difficulty) and at the end of 15 minutes the quarter ends.

8. To hold onto the ball, a team must achieve first downs, much like in professional football. To get a first down simply move the ball 10 yards within four downs. This continues until the offense scores a touchdown, kicks a field goal, punts or turns the ball over on downs. Incorrect answering questions while making an easy, medium or difficult plays give the opponent's defense the chance to answer the question (with the advantage of knowing your wrong answer). A correct answer from the defense results in a sack. A sack will move the offense back half the yards they were hoping to gain with the play. 9. A team may score points in a number of ways: Touchdown (6 points plus an extra point if they correctly answer the question) by moving the ball into the opponent's end zone during a play; Field Goal (3 points) from within the opponent's 40 yard line (difficulty is determined by distance from end zone); Safety (2 points) by sacking the opponent's team back in to their end zone.
