Frank has a unique ability for finding new and interesting ways to make financial education resonate with students. Whether it’s bringing in a television program, magazine article or local business leader, Frank tries to make every lesson count . Perhaps the best example is his work to establish a student-run credit union branch
at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School, which will celebrate its first year in business this September. One of Frank’s students won a scholarship for his participation in the Financial Jeopardy competition and three of his students placed in the top 1% on a federal test taken by 46,000 students. Frank also writes articles on financial issues for the teacher union’s newsletter and maintains bulletin boards on financial topics in the employee lounge.

“His drive and passion for teaching has the ripple effect. You can often find him managing students in the school store. Not afraid to roll up his sleeves and scoop snow cones and pop
popcorn, he leads by example.”
